The Pokemon Company made a great choice choosing a Scraggy as their main character, as he constantly has to work to keep his skin “pants” up. He may not be in the top 10 funniest Pokemon, but he is certainly close. Perhaps sometime in the series, the Scraggy will evolve into Scrafty.

The story begins with the main character, Scraggy, following a trail of heart-shaped Pokemame. He discovers the source of the beans is a bag on a truck which has sprung a leak and is leaving behind a perfect trail. Naturally, the hungry Pokemon cannot resist, and he follows his gut into traffic.

The poor Scraggy gets into trouble when a truck shunts him right into the car of a waiting train, which takes off with him inside. That does not end up concerning him so much, as he finds more beans to follow.

His apparent co-star Mimikyu joins him in the next car up, when the trail ends with a suitcase, which starts to bounce erratically all over the coach. Inside is what appears to be a burlap sack with a Pikachu face drawn on. Although the bag is never removed, there is a lightning-bolt tail sticking out which is further evidence that the owner is at least in the same family as Gigantamax Pikachu.

Scraggy does get a look inside the bag, and apparently what is inside frightens the Pokemon enough to forget all about the Pokemame and go running right off the train to escape the spooky sack. Wanting very much to be friends with Scraggy, of course Mimikyu follows him, chasing him all the way out into the country.

It’s unclear when the next episode is going to air, but in the meantime Pokemon and Warner Brothers fans can enjoy the 4-minute short right alongside some of the classic cartoons, as well as the upcoming Pokemon anime on Netflix.

The Poketoon is viewable now on the official Pokemon Kids TV YouTube channel.
