How to Evolve Pokemon in Pokemon Masters
Evolving Pokemon in Pokemon Masters is a bit different than other games in the franchise. First of all, players have to reach a certain level with their Sync Pairs; Barry and Piplup’s Sync Pair evolves at level 30 which is different from the base games where Piplup evolves at level 16. Once players hit level 30, they receive a new mission type called an Evolution Mission. In order to successfully evolve the Pokemon, players have to complete the mission. If the Pokemon has a third-stage Evolution, then players need to hit a new level cap for further evolution. The steps required for evolution in Pokemon Masters are,
The player reaches the evolution level. The player completes the Evolution Mission. Player Wins the special battle. Player evolves the Pokemon.

Before players head on the Evolution Mission, they will need to get some Evolution materials. These evolution materials cost coins, and the costs in the store vary for each different item. Entering an evolution battle costs one evolution crystal, which is something players need to keep in mind when trying to evolve a Pokemon. Finally, players need to win a special battle that’s unique for each Sync Pair. The special battle is quite tough especially if the Sync Pair is on a lower side in terms of levels, but players must win the battle in order to evolve the Pokemon in Sync Pair.
Most Pokemon in a Sync Pair have a final evolution. Since Pokemon Masters does not follow the same evolution mechanics as the mainline games, it’s still unknown what level each Pokemon will require to evolve in this game. However, it has been confirmed that Pokemon Masters will feature popular trainers from the past including Misty and Brock along with their signature Pokemon.
Pokemon Masters is available on Android and iOS mobile devices.
