The line-up also comes with the release of a bunch of plushies including characters like Bulbasaur, Hopip, Oddish, Rowlet, Shaymin, Snivy, and Turtwig—all Grass-type Pokemon. While the plushies are neat, they are a fairly common release for Pokemon merchandise. While the gardening-specific releases include sandals, a storage basket, an aroma diffuser, and a cultivation set, the crown jewel of the collection is a watering can designed to look like Squirtle. The water pours from Squirtle’s mouth which mimics the Pokemon using its famous “Water Gun” attack with its tail acting as the handle.

Of course, no Pokemon merchandise collection would be complete without Pikachu—who was featured on a line of Pokemon face masks earlier this year. In the “Grassy Gardening” collection, both the apron and sandals are decorated with an image of Pikachu wearing a gardening apron. On one of the vases offered, Pikachu is pictured wearing the apron from the collection, as well as using the adorable Squirtle jug to water plants.

Among other oddities listed in the catalog are a tote bag, an assortment of cookies, a set of acrylic charms, and a random badge collection. With many trying their hand at becoming first-time gardeners during the lockdowns and the recent resurgence of both old and new Pokemon games, the collection could be perfectly timed to sell out quickly. But even should fans miss this release, its likely that a summer release will be soon to follow.
