A new shiny family arrives every month on Community Day (like the recent Cyndaquil event), but the other in-game events have also been adding additional shiny sprites to the world. So many have been released this past summer and fall alone that it’s a little hard to keep track of which ones are available in Pokemon GO and how players can secure them.
Luckily, the Pokemon GO community is great at compiling this type of information. A new infographic shared on The Silph Road shows every shiny available as of yesterday…
The most recent additions come in the form of the new Gen 4 evolutions who players can obtain by using the Sinnoh Stone. Players can also currently try to obtain a shiny Magnemite.
Collecting shiny Pokemon doesn’t give the trainer any kind of advantage in battle, but it is still a fun additional challenge to add into the game. Shiny Pokemon are perfect for leaving in Gyms to show off to the rest of the community.
