Rare candy isn’t about to become any less rare in Pokemon GO, but cashing in a bunch of it at once is finally going to be an option. So far, players have always had to transfer one rare candy at a time, which is incredibly tedious and time consuming. Today’s update, which should now be live on both Android and iOS, makes a major quality of life improvement in that area.
Here’s a look at the new and improved rare candy transfer screen…
Anyone who has ever taken the time to transfer a ton of rare candy into one species’ candy can recognize how helpful this feature is going to be. It will only be helpful when all of the rare candy is becoming the same type of regular candy, but that is how most players usually use the feature anyway.
To use the new and improved feature, just click on rare candy from the Inventory menu as usual. If the update has been installed, the bulk transfer option will automatically appear.
Aside from this change, the rest of the patch was just simple bug fixes that contained no noticeable changes for players.
Good luck out there, trainers!
