The November 2022 Pokemon GO Community Day is going to be a particularly exciting one for a handful of reasons. In addition to a really powerful collection of bonuses that are going to make playing during the event window very rewarding in terms of Stardust and Candy collection efforts, the event also includes the debut of a brand new Pokedex entry for the mobile AR game! This evolution can only be triggered at select times as well, so players have a lot of motivation to log in and at least take care of this new evolution opportunity during the limited time window.

In order to lock in that Ursaluna Pokedex entry and enjoy the rest of the Community Day features and bonuses, trainers may want to take a bit of time ahead of the event to review all of the dates, times, and other details. There’s a bit more to keep track of than usual this time around, so be sure to review all the details carefully before the November 12 event arrives.
Featured Pokemon
Teddiursa - Gen 2 Normal-type
Date
Saturday, November 12, 2022
Start and End Times
From 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time (despite some recent complaints about the length of Community Day events)
Starting in February 2019, Community Day events now always take place on local time, no matter where you are playing. That changes a bit over the winter months as the time is split between hemispheres rather than time zones.
Ursaluna Debut
“We’re excited to announce that Teddiursa, the Little Bear Pokemon, will be featured during November Community Day! And hang on–is that a full moon during the day? Ursaluna, the Peat Pokemon, will make its Pokemon GO debut during this event! Evolve Ursaring (Teddiursa’s Evolution) during a special full moon to get an Ursaluna of your own.
Special Move
Evolve Ursaring (Teddiursa’s Evolution) during the event or up to five hours afterward to get an Ursaluna that knows the Charged Attack High Horsepower. Make sure to evolve during the active time window (within two hours of the event ending) if you want to secure the exclusive move.
High Horsepower Trainer Battles: 100 power
High Horsepower Gyms and raids: 110 power

Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours. Incense activated during the event will last for three hours. Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise! Trading - One additional Special Trade can be made, for a maximum of two for the day.
- Trading - Trades made during the event will require 50% less Stardust.
While most bonuses are only active during the three hours of the event, these bonuses will be active from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time.
Bonus Raid Battles After Community Day
After the three-hour Community Day event ends, Trainers will be able to take on special four-star Raid Battles. Claiming victory in one of these raids will cause more Teddiursa to appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes!
Ursaring will appear in four-star raids! You can only join these raids using Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes. Remote Raid Passes cannot be used to join these raids.
Shiny Variant
Niantic usually doesn’t confirm the shiny chance until after the event has started, but keep an eye out for shiny Teddiursa while hunting. They’ve been a part of every other Community Day and Community Day Classic event, so we fully expect to see them this month, as well.
With all of that information in mind, trainers should be ready to set out for November’s Community Day when it arrives. Keep an eye on the clock and be careful not to miss the window on the Exclusive Move or on the Ursaluna evolution period!
Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
