Unown does technically have a low chance to spawn anywhere, but the only reliable way to obtain the pokemon is by attending one of the events that features the rare monster. Niantic has been pretty stingy with Unown and many trainers are still missing #201 from the Pokedex.

According to a new teaser from the app store, it sounds like Unown is going to be visiting London, which should give lots of players a chance to catch it. Here’s a look at the teaser…

The tease doesn’t actually confirm that the appearance will be in London, but the hint is pretty clear. There also aren’t any dates or details revealed at this point.

Many gamers are speculating that the appearance will coincide with part of the London Games Festival, which is currently underway and running through April 15. We haven’t heard confirmation of any sighting quite yet, but we’ll keep an eye on the situation and post an update when it becomes clear that the spawns are appearing in London.

Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
