It will give players the chance to catch more Bronzors than they would be able to otherwise, which in turn increases their chances of getting a shiny Bronzor. The Extraordinary Raid Week Field Research tasks and rewards also make it easier for players who live in rural areas or who struggle to put together a raid group to add Absol to their Pokemon GO collection.
While Absol is not as hard to beat with a low number of players as a legendary Pokemon, Absol is still a tier-4 raid boss and for most Pokemon GO players, impossible to beat without a solid group.
