Just like the two prior Free Weekly Challenges, this week trainers are being tasked with a timed Special Research quest to help unlock some additional rewards and special spawns that will appear during GO Fest 2020. In addition to the Special Research, there has also been a slight Battle Raid lineup shakeup that Pokemon GO players should be aware of as they continue playing this week and deciding how to split up their game time.

The current lineup is a pretty exciting one and offers the opportunity to score some valuable Candy and encounters. Kyurem is still at the top of the pile and leading the tier 5 Raids at this point, but further down the list there are some other exciting bosses with metagame value or shiny potential, as well. A few highlights of the current lineup include Absol, Alola Raichu, and Alola Marowak. In addition, some fans can never get enough Slakoth.

That should be the full lineup for the coming week, so players can start to plan which Battle Raids they would like to prioritize as they are out walking their Buddy Pokemon and earning enough hearts to complete the current tasks. The full lineup will likely change quite a bit once GO Fest 2020 arrives, so be sure to battle these bosses now if there are any encounters that are still on your to-do list. GO Fest 2020 kicks off on July 25, so there’s still a full week to get ready.

As trainers continue working through all of these amazing events, they may want to keep hunting down the best Unova Pokemon in the game if improving their Battle Raid rosters and completing their Pokedex is their primary goal. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
