In addition to more groundwork for the coming enhancements to Pokemon GO’s AR system, this datamine also introduced a ton of code related to a new Stickers system. Details are scarce so far, but it seems like the system will be used to customize Gifts before sending them off to Friends in Pokemon GO.

There was a lot of code added that related to the possible new feature and dataminers have already been tearing through it. The new lines seem to lay the basic groundwork, add the ability for Niantic to put Stickers in the game’s shop, and also include a max limit on the number of Stickers a user can carry.
As always, keep in mind that information from datamines has not been confirmed and is subject to change (or never arrive in the game at all). Niantic has not confirmed the Sticker feature yet, so we’re still in the realm of speculation.

There’s still tons to learn about the new feature, so hopefully we hear more official word from Niantic over the next few weeks.
For now, players may want to keep hunting down the best Unova Pokemon in the game if improving their Battle Raid rosters is their primary goal. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!
Pokemon GO is available now in select regions on Android and iOS devices.
