The Pokemon GO Community Day event for December will actually be split into two distinct days. On Saturday, December 18 from 11:00am to 5:00pm local time, Pokemon GO players can hope to find Fletchling, Gible, Machop, Roselia, Snivy, Swablu in the wild. Then on Sunday, December 19 from 11:00am to 5:00pm local time, Pokemon GO players will find Duskull, Eevee (which knows the move Last Resort), Oshawott, Shinx, and Tepig. Any of the Community Day Pokemon can appear either day through Pokemon GO Lures and Incense, however.

The Pokemon GO Community Day event will also feature some special 2 km Eggs, largely based on previous Community Day Pokemon. While the event is live, players can potentially hatch Abra, Budew, Charmander, Elekid, Gastly, Magby, Magikarp, Piplup, Porygon, Rhyhorn, Seedot, and Weedle from Pokemon GO Eggs.
Not only will wild encounters and eggs be shaken up during Community Day, but so too will Pokemon GO Raids. While the event is active, Pokemon GO players can expect to encounter Abra, Charmander, Electabuzz, Gastly, Magikarp, Magmar, PIplup, Porygon, Rhyhorn, Seedot, and Weedle.
While Pokemon GO players are out completing Raids, hatching Eggs, and catching wild Pokemon, they will have some helpful bonuses to keep in mind. During the duration of the event, Pokemon GO Incense and Lure Modules will both last three hours, plus hatching distance will be cut in half. Players will also get double catch XP and double Stardust, so it will be a great time to level up and grow one’s Pokemon collection.
As usual, a Special Research Story will be avaliable to purchase for $1 while the Community Day is live, and there will be new Timed Research tasks as well as new Field Research tasks. Completing Field Research tasks during the Pokemon GO December 2021 Community Day events will net players Mega Energy for Beedrill, Charizard, Gengar, Gyarados, and Swablu, so anyone who has yet to get all of the Mega Pokemon in Pokemon GO may want to make sure that they’re playing the game on both days.
Pokemon GO is out now for iOS and Android mobile devices.
