Called “Ditto sweeping,” the new Pokemon GO Gym method revolves around the blobby character’s Transform ability. Transform allows Ditto to take on the Attack and Defense stats of the first Pokemon it faces, but with the Gym update, the ability doesn’t include the opponent’s level of Motivation. This means that for teams that already have a low Motivation level, Ditto can easily beat them. And what’s more is that Pokemon GO still treats Ditto as though it has defeated its opponents as a Pokemon with low CP....
The Pokemon GO Jump Start Special Research is now live in the game and will be available until September 2. It features six pages worth of tasks for players to complete, with a variety of rewards for each page of tasks. According to Niantic, Pokemon GO’s forthcoming Limited Research event in question is scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM PST, making it somewhat similar to Community Day, as both events run for three hours. During this period of time, players will able to receive special Limited Research tasks by spinning the Photo Disc at PokeStops. The completion of each task will give one an encounter with Feebas, with the odds of coming across the Water-type’s Shiny variant increasing each time....
As it turns out, Sprint is running a competition for Pokemon GO players, with the grand prize being a five night trip to Yokohama with up to three guests and $6,250 worth of gift cards. As part of the GO Battle League’s fourth season, which will begin on September 14th, Pokemon GO players can participate in the aptly named Halloween Cup. It will take place from Monday October 26th to Tuesday November 3rd, but participants will be restricted in terms of what Pokemon they can use. Earlier this year, Pokemon GO players discovered that raid rewards were distributed in bundles of items that directly correspond to the raid’s level. Since Natures are randomized, it can be frustrating when a Pokemon that works better as a Special Attacker ends up with a Nature that decreases its Special Attack growth by 10%. Mints can change Natures and thus change the Pokemon’s stats depending on which Mint is used. Mints do not become available until a bit later into Pokemon Legends: Arceus’ story. There are a series of Missions that need to be started/completed before players can begin farming Mints....
In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, players can release any of their Pokemon in Pastures or in the party, but it can’t be done when traveling out in the field. Players will need to speak to a specific NPC to be able to release their Pokemon (there are actually two NPCs that can help trainers release their Pokemon). In the trailer released today for Pokemon Legends: Arceus, there was a lot for players to sink their teeth into.
