June 1 will bring some other changes to the Field Research in Pokemon GO as well. The game will be adding new tasks that will focus on water-type Pokemon, with Niantic specifically singling out Seel, Kingler, and Horsea. So once June 1 rolls around, Pokemon GO fans should be able to greatly expand their collection of water-type Pokemon on top of adding Articuno to their collection. Since Moltres was added as the first Field Research breakthrough Pokemon and was swapped for Zapdos at the beginning of May, it was expected that Articuno would be next in line....

Niantic is undoubtedly hopeful that the release of Pokemon GO Plus will breathe new life into the augmented reality game, which has lost 79% of its player total since its peak in July. According to the latest post on the official Pokemon GO website, the next update will start rolling out this Saturday during the Swinub Community Day event. Players will see the addition of stat boosts during Trainer Battles, triggered on occasion after a certain charge move is performed. Furthermore, it has also added evolution stones as possible rewards for completing Johto Festival Field Research....

The Adventure Week 2019 event has also changed the Pokemon that appear in Raids. During this week, players have a chance to face off against Aerodactyl in raids as a tier-3 raid boss. This is good news for lone wolf style players as tier 3 can be played solo. Better yet, the challenge becomes even less when more players are involved. Either way, Pokemon GO players will find even more new pocket monsters to challenge during this event as Niantic added a completely revised raid boss list....

What’s more is that Pokemon GO’s next Community Day event will involve the Dragon-Type known as Dratini, but as seen in the image below, Niantic has yet to reveal the exclusive move that can be learned by the creature. PoGO’s last Community Day event gave fans the chance to catch a Pikachu capable of learning “Surf,” but there’s no telling what the developer has planned for Dratini just yet....

Jeffrey Marder, a resident of West Orange, New Jersey, claims that Niantic placed both PokeStops and gyms on his property without his permission.
