Safety has been an issue for Pokemon GO players since the initial summer craze kicked off. The month after the game’s launch was full of stories about muggings, car accidents, and people walking into hazards. The news comes courtesy of the Pokemon GO developer itself, who advised that the in-beta tracker that appeared in the Bay area is unlikely to be rolled out further in the near future. A representative from the studio told Polygon that “Niantic is still testing a new type of tracking that’s geo-locked to San Francisco. At this moment, there is no estimated timeline to potentially rolling it out wider.”...

The coming month or so will bring new opportunities to battle and catch Cresselia, Kyogre, and Groudon. These are three very popular and meta-relevant Pokemon that will be valuable additions to many collections. Both hardcore and casual players alike will be able to benefit from these popular raid bosses appearing early this summer. To build up the raid hype even further, Niantic also confirmed that these three bosses will have a chance to appear as shiny during for some lucky players....
