One of the Pokemon some players may be searching for in Pokemon GO is Chikorita. It is the Grass-type starter Pokemon from the Johto region, and it and can evolve into Bayleef via 25 Chikorita candies. Bayleef then can evolve into Meganium through the usage of 100 more Chikorita candies. This means that players that want a Meganium will have to stock up on a whole lot of candies....

In order to unlock Pokemon GO’s Zapdos Day, players around the world will need to complete special challenges on July 14 and July 15. There are rewards for each tier of the challenge and, if everything is completed in time, trainers will get five free Raid Passes and the chance to catch a shiny version of Zapdos. Niantic is being faced with challenges spanning from the server issues plaguing players in the United States to the frustrations of Pokemon fans in regions where the app is yet to be officially released. However, even despite the obstacles ahead, the studio has found the time to release the first incremental update to Pokemon GO. As expected, version 1.0.1 doesn’t make any enormous changes to the experience, but it does solve a couple of issues that have been bothering players....

When this update arrives, players in Pokemon GO will be able to find the Kalos starter trio in the wild alongside a few other Kalos Pokemon. These Pokemon additionally can be hatched from eggs with two specific Pokemon also starring as raid bosses in 1-Star raids. Nintendo, The Pokemon Company, and Niantic are apparently deciding to take this venture a step further. In a recent announcement, the three companies have declared that a new game, entitled Pokemon Go, will soon be bringing Pokemon to the real world. The reveal video, seen below, demonstrates how the augmented reality Pokemon Go game will work. Players will be able to download the app to their iPhones or Android phones for free, and can then use GPS or (presumably) other geolocation methods to track down Pokemon in the vicinity....

While swapping out models or creating an elaborate hoax with image manipulation software could explain some of the legendary Pokemon that have been appearing online, the Articuno hoax most likely required a Pokemon GO proxy. Skilled modders have created proxy software that allows gamers to effectively create their own Pokemon GO servers, altering the game’s data as they see fit. Once the private server was created, multiple players would be able to log onto it using the same software, and take screenshots of the Articuno as further “proof” backing up the claims of the trainer who posted it....

Yesterday, Pokemon GO players experienced a massive glitch when all PokeStops and gyms started distributing two items per visit rather than the usual three to five items. It’s still unknown what exactly the Pokemon GO team was attempting to do on their end that caused this issue to arise (though it appears that they rolled back the map-side server to a point where it stopped correctly giving three or more items), but Niantic developers acknowledged the issues and “fixed” the two-item glitch by restoring a backup version of their system....

Rather than manually searching for the gyms that house the bosses, Pokemon GO players can use third-party site GymHuntr to see which challenges are currently available. The application will scan an area, letting players know where raids are currently occurring, as well as informing the user as to which team currently holds each gym. A scan can be performed every 90 seconds, which should allow Pokemon GO fans to keep up to date with every new raid that becomes available as they appear....

Players will be able to catch Shaymin after receiving a request to do so in Jubilife Village upon completing beating the story and seeing the end credit sequence. Pokemon Let’s Go and Pokemon GO players are able to trade Pokemon between them and it’s this social feature that allows players to get Meltan in Pokemon Let’s Go. There does not appear to be any way to catch Meltan or Melmetal in Pokemon Let’s Go and the only way to get them is to get the Pokemon in Pokemon GO and trade them over afterward. To get Meltan in Pokemon GO, players can complete the Let’s Go, Meltan quest....

The biggest and most-marketed addition to Pokemon Masters is Hammerlocke Gym Leader Raihan from Pokemon Sword and Shield. The Dragon-type Gym Leader is known for unique weather-based tactics and for taking selfies during battle, and he has been Champion Leon’s greatest rival since their days taking the Pokemon League Challenge. On 3rd August 2022, The Pokemon Company revealed a slew of updates for the current and upcoming Pokemon titles via The Pokemon Presents Livestream. One half of the livestream was dedicated to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, during which many interesting details regarding newly introduced Pokemon and regions were revealed. While the other half of the presentation provided a wealth of information for nearly every other Pokemon game that is still receiving updates, one of the significant revelations that has the fans excited is the addition of a new location in Pokemon Masters EX....

Aside from the aesthetic evolution, Pokémon: The Power of Us does little to distinguish itself from the rest of Ash and Pikachu’s prolific filmography. That being said, the story is independent of the games, shows, and other movies. Instead of continuing in canon, the teaser shows the iconic duo arriving in a new town, where inhabitants worship the legendary Pokémon Lugia. The shift in animation style can be attributed to Wit Studios, best known for their work on Attack on Titan....

The Katy Perry and Pokemon crossover was teased early in 2021, but the wait for the big release is finally coming to an end. Earlier this week, The Pokemon Company revealed that Katy Perry’s Electric is all set to debut later this week. The company even released a teaser poster to help celebrate the upcoming track. At this point no Pokemon GO in-game crossover with the track release has been announced, but players should keep an eye out tomorrow in case there are any surprises....
