The latest community post from Pokemon GO provided a sneak peek at the upcoming League offerings and confirmed the suspicion that trainers will need to master all three levels of league to become the very best and gain the most rewards. According to a post shared today on Pokemon GO’s official website, Niantic is set to host a Safari Zone event with the support of the city of Dortmund in Germany in Westfalenpark from Saturday, June 30 until Sunday, July 1. As explained by the developer, the event will be a part of its Pokemon GO Summer Tour 2018, and it will offer fans the opportunity to catch a bevy of different Pokemon, with the company set to include “some rarely seen throughout Europe”....

As reported by Pokemon GO Hub, Niantic’s latest newsletter teases a special event starting Tuesday, April 10 that will focus on Kanto region (generation 1) Pokemon. Unfortunately, the newsletter doesn’t clarify what this special event will entail exactly, but we have some guesses. One possibility is that this event will simply mean that more gen 1 Pokemon will spawn in the game than gen 2 or 3. While this could mean that we will see the population of Pidgeys and Rattatas return to their past highs, it could also give players a chance at catching some of the rarer gen 1 Pokemon in the game....

There are a handful of Pokemon GO Holidays bonuses that will be active throughout the full event, but there are some special bonuses that will only be in place during either Part 1 or Part 2 of the PoGO winter extravaganza. That includes some very special spawns and Battle Raid bosses. However, less than 24 hours ago, the official Niantic Support Twitter account shared a solemn announcement that one of those Pokemon, Falinks, was being removed from three-star raids.
