All of the collection challenges for this year’s Pokemon GO Fest are themed around the various habitat hours that cycle throughout July 17th. Each passing hour is themed around a different Pokemon Habitat with the spawning Pokemon in the overworld reflecting this. According to Niantic, the next two Alolan Pokemon coming to Pokemon GO are Alolan Diglett and Alolan Geodude. They will make their first worldwide appearance while Pokemon GO Fest is taking place in Chicago, so they will first appear beginning July 14. Niantic advises that players shouldn’t “miss the chance” to catch Alolan Diglett and Alolan Geodude, implying that the Pokemon will have increased spawns during Pokemon GO Fest weekend and will then be harder to find after the event is over....
Larvitar, also known as the Rock Skin Pokemon, will be available up until Saturday, August 1 at 1 PM PDT for Pokemon GO players. Lucky players can even get their hands on a Shiny Larvitar. The Pokemon eventually evolves into Tyranitar, which is strong in battle raids. Players can get a Research Breakthrough by gaining seven stamps through completing Research Tasks. Getting these seven stamps doesn’t just hand a player a Larvitar, but gives them the opportunity to catch one....
The latest leak comes from famed Pokemon GO dataminer Chrales who appears to have found evidence that a brand new Pokemon is about to be added to the game. The datamined files make reference to a Pokemon called “Kecleon” though it is also referred to as “Pokemon #891” in the unity files. Datamined images of the Pokemon suggest that it has a body like Ditto (but grey) and has a golden nut shape for a head with a dot in the middle that resembles an eye....
